WELLER DESIGN WORKS
Since 1979, I have designed process solutions and machinery based on a lifetime of hands-on experience. I began as a welder/fabricator and worked my way through the machinist, maintenance, engineering, and installation phases of a wide range of industries. Take advantage of my expertise by contacting me at 619-548-3323 or sending an email with a brief description of your challenges.

Flow Analysis - Liquid or Air
Flow Analysis is a great tool to ensure your expectations don't exceed your design. Having powerful software, combined with experience, helps avoid costly mistakes and speed up R&D considerably. If you are thinking about using air or fluid to improve your bottom line, I can help.
Innovative Design
Innovation backed by hands-on product development can bring huge benefits. Use my strong connections with fabrication, molding and casting companies locally and offshore as well. Get in touch with me today with your challenges. and together we can turn them into tomorrow's solutions.
1, 2, 3 design challenges meet solutions
-
Two discs are required to achieve proper screen openings and action for the process material.
-
Rough castings have variations that add up when stacked in an array and fits to shafts can be difficult.
-
Chromium castings can last many years in abrasive environments. However, when mounted on mild steel will eventually cut through the steel.
By designing one disc to allow for two orientations, only one casting is required. The rubber insert absorbs each casting's imperfections, isolates the casting from the steel, and absorbs shock loads form severe operating conditions.
The rotor assembly can now be assembled in a simple press fixture and installed in the machine for many years of service. Call me at 619-548-3323
